Nursing at Red River College Polytechnic (RRC Polytech): the BN and the LPN-to-BN pathway

Canada · Winnipeg, Manitoba · Last checked October 2026

Red River College Polytechnic (RRC Polytech) is in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Its program explorer lists a Bachelor of Nursing and, for licensed practical nurses, a separate pathway into that degree.

Fiabita is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by this institution. Admissions, programs, placements and professional requirements change: verify them with the school and the regulator.

What the school offers (nursing)

Becoming licensed after graduating

RRC Polytech states that BN graduates are eligible to write the NCLEX-RN and can then join the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) to use the title registered nurse. The CRNM's own site says the NCLEX-RN is required for RN licensure in Manitoba and has a section for students and graduate nurses. Registration is the CRNM's decision.

How to apply

Both pages say the nursing program needs a formal application. The LPN-pathway page points to RRC Polytech's general application portal at apply.rrc.ca. The program pages show current intake details, so confirm campus, intake and entry requirements there.

How Fiabita's Study Lab can help students here

With a 32-month BN spread over three campuses, Study Lab fits as a routine rather than a cram tool: build short quizzes from your own notes after each unit, track the questions you miss, and practise assessment and handoff language before clinical. LPN-pathway students can use it to review RN-level content from their own course notes. Fiabita is independent of RRC Polytech and AI output can contain errors, so verify it with your course material.
