What the school offers (nursing)

Becoming licensed after graduating

In Ontario, nurses register with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). CNO’s guide for Ontario graduates says you must complete an approved nursing program, pass the NCLEX-RN (for registered nurses) and a jurisprudence exam. The University of Toronto pages we read did not state registration details, so confirm the current steps, including any additional requirements for nurse practitioners, with CNO.

How to apply

The BScN page says applications go through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) in two steps; the page we checked listed applications opening November 1, a Step One deadline of January 15 and a Step Two deadline of February 1. The Faculty has separate how-to-apply pages for the Master of Nursing. Deadlines change by year, so confirm them.

How Fiabita’s Study Lab can help students here

Study Lab is independent and not affiliated with the University of Toronto. An accelerated program leaves little time for review, so you can upload your own notes and slides to generate quizzes and flashcards for pharmacology, assessment and documentation. AI-generated content can contain errors, so check it against your course material.
