What the school offers (nursing)

Becoming licensed after graduating

In Ontario, nurses register with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). CNO’s guide for Ontario graduates says you must complete an approved nursing program, then pass the NCLEX-RN (registered nurses) or the REx-PN (registered practical nurses), plus a jurisprudence exam. Centennial’s Practical Nursing page says graduates are eligible to apply for RPN registration and sit the REx-PN. The BScN page also tells students to read the CNO eligibility conditions before starting; confirm all current rules with CNO.

How to apply

The Practical Nursing page tells domestic applicants to apply through the Ontario College Application Service at ontariocolleges.ca. The BScN page says applications go through ontariocolleges.ca or the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (ouac.on.ca) and gives program code 9260. Confirm the current code and deadlines on the program page.

How Fiabita’s Study Lab can help students here

Study Lab is independent and not affiliated with Centennial College. Students in either program can upload their own notes and slides to build quizzes and flashcards, and practise the medication-math and documentation skills that both programs rely on. AI-generated content can contain errors, so verify it with your course material.
